Dun Rite Appliances Reviews

Last Wednesday we purchased a GE Profile stove. Our salesman was Robert Roth. The stove was delivered & installed on Saturday. We were told that the center grate was on backorder and we would be notified as soon as it came in. This evening, much to our delight, the doorbell rang and the item was hand delivered! It is this type of superb customer service by Robert & the everyone at Dunrite that keeps us coming back. Kudos & thanks again!

My husband and I left Dunrite today having purchased a dryer and washer . This our second set in the 20+ years we have lived out here. We cannot say enough about the professionalism and care that they bring to the experience. We have bought or replaced every appliance at some point throughout the years. We would never go to a big box store. Anytime there has been an issue or concern about a product purchased they have completely and satisfactorily resolved the concern. Had a great experience with Dunrite for the purchase of my Ge gas slide in range.Tom in sales was very patient and helpful over the phone. He matched the sale price I had from a big box store, answered all of my questions and promptly followed up with e-mails. Communication was easy. First range delivered had damage on the front (no fault of Dunrite) and the installers immediately called the office and set me up for redelivery and install within a few days. I will purchase from them again and am happy to support local small business!!!

We have gotten all our appliances through Dun-Rite since moving to the Center Moriches community 14 years ago. Not only do you get friendly service, they will go out of their way to find the best prices and price match the particular item you are shopping for. Our most recent purchase was an LG refrigerator and we were wanting the Memorial Day Sale prices but with our house lift from Superstorm Sandy didn't know when we could accept delivery. They not only gave us the sale price but held onto the refrigerator until we were able to get it into our house. If you are looking to buy an appliance with the best pricing and good customer service, this is definitely the place to go!!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Charlie Malafronte and the experience could not have been better. The entire transaction was seamless beginning to end. 48 inch built in sub zero referigerator was ordered and delivered on time. Fit directly in previoulsy built in opening all as promised by Charlie. This was best appliance sales experience I've ever had. In the past I've purchased appliances from Sears, PC Richard, AJ Madison, and Costco. When I recently needed a new refrigerator and dishwasher (after my 3-year old LG appliances failed...never again LG). I visited Dunrite Appliances in Center Moriches at the suggestion of a acquaintance. From start to finish this was -- hands down -- a positive and rewarding experience. Dunrite's prices were competitive, their product knowledge was excellent, there was no sales pressure, they delivered everything they promised, and when I broke a small part on the back of my dishwasher (while installing it) Robert was gracious enough to order me a new part...for free! When I had some minor issues installing both the refrigerator and dishwasher, Charlie took my phone calls, answered my emails, listened patiently, and provided valuable advice. When I first visited Dunrite I asked Charlie "what makes Dunrite better than Costco?" to which he answered "because we're here and you can talk to us"...and boy oh boy was that sure true. My (3-year old) LG washer and LG dryer are on the way out, and when they finally bite the dust I'll be returning to Dunrite for replacement units. But until that time I'd like to say "thank you Charlie, thank you Robert, and thank you Dunrite!" A+++

I bought a Whirlpool Dryer on Nov. 26th. Dun Rite was waiting for a shipment of this dryer to be delivered. As soon as the delivery arrived we received a call to set up a delivery date. The men who delivered our dryer were professional and installed it for me completely. The old dryer was removed and taken away for us. I am very happy with the new dryer. This is not the first appliance we have bought at Dun Rite. I would rather shop at a small in town store than a big box store. I feel that the small store cares more about taking care of their customers than most big box stores. Thank you Dun Rite for making buying my new dryer so easy and hassle free.

I’ve been working with Dunrite for more years than I care to admit (+20 years). We just finished our 5th project and used Dunrite again. Both on Long Isalnd and our place in NYC. Each time, the bar has been raised on what the quality and level of appliances we wanted - and every time they have not only sourced what we wanted, but their prices are competitive to larger retailers and big box stores. But more importantly with a level of personal service, responsiveness and attentiveness you’d never get from larger companies. This is why we’ve referred and will continue to refer friends and family to the Dunrite crew. And continue to use them ourselves of course!

The BEST in Customer service!!! We ordered our appliances with Dunrite for our new house that was in the building process. The builder then made a mistake that caused a very lengthy delay. Dunrite safely stored our new appliance and today they were able to deliver them! The entire time they have kept in contact with us about our appliances. Today when they were delivered the guys were extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were extra careful on our brand new floors. They delivered the appliances exactly in the delivery window of time that they promised. I can’t say enough good things about this company. So glad we ordered local! We were completely remodeling our kitchen in a summer cottage and had to do much of the work of selecting materials and appliance from a distance. The people at Dunnrite were happy to work with us by phone and internet, so they made it very easy for us. They were helpful in suggesting specific appliances based on our situation and preferences. They were also very patient and kind in letting us lock in our price for the appliances several months before we could accept delivery

Great customer service and prices. Had a small ding on a refrigerator after I signed for it and only noticed it hours later. One call and the problem was solved. You can buy appliances anywhere...but it's the service that sets these guys apart from initial help to follow up calls. Even texting you with help or info. Try getting a text from the owner of best buy or P.C. Richards about an issue or your appliances. You'll get one from Dunrite if you want one.

She worked with us to choose the correct appliance package for our needs and our budget. The delivery and setup went so smoothly.The installation team was superb. Bought a refrigerator in the fall of 2014. I had an horrific experience with Sears and a refrig I had purchased from them. I had moved to LI from NJ a few months before and was told to go to DunRite by my daughter. I loved the store and the personal help to find the correct size. ( In my era this was referred to as a "Mom and Pop" store. ) It was delivered in a few days.When I needed an a/c this past summer, I went directly to DunRite. Service was was friendly and all questions asked were answered. You are my go-to store for any appliance I might need!!

I have to say we should have purchased our refrigerator from Dun-Rite Appliance from the start, however, we did not - we purchased from other's and we were without a refrigerator from Thanksgiving until a few days before Christmas - to make a long story really short - this company received our new refrigerator - They care, they were here several times, and made sure our new refrigerator was in working order and that everything was Dun-Rite!!! Shop local to support your local merchants and you won't be disappointed. Scott walked us through the best option and delivered within days. The delivery was so smooth, they took away the old appliance and it was amazing to see them move the old and new around with such ease. They were only here for about 7 minutes and made the job look so easy. As for as my new range oven, not only do I love the item we purchased, but we got a much, much better deal than if we had gone to one of the box stores. We will be back and highly recommend this establishment to everyone we know!
