I have owned this model for three years and have replaced three drain pumps. This washer/dryer gets very little use. It is embarrassing that I paid for it at the height of the pandemic and how long I waited for it. It was the worst purchase ever. I will purchase a Speed Queen next time.

Horrible product. Why is there no user manual anymore with anything? I have to scan a QR code then forced to download some app? I want to know why it auto detects that some towels are going to take 3.5 hours on waterless dry. This product is junk. I get the concept but come up with something that doesnt make more work if you are trying to make a product to reduce work. I do not recommend.

Question About Lint Filter Location

Question: Where is the lint filter on this model. On the larger model it is on top of the machine so the install space must be ~10 inches higher than the machine. On this model the manual says the install space need only be 1/4 inch higher than the machine so the link filter must be elsewhere. Where is it?

This is the worst product and customer service experience I have ever had. It has leaked from the day It was installed. I did all of the trouble shooting and still it leaked. BASCO customer service set up an appointment to send someone out a month later between 1-4. at 5:00 I got a text message that the would be there at 5:15 I was already gone and 3 weeks later no follow up.LG contacted me via text message saying they would reimburse me if I followed certain instruction which I did. I received a check in the mail within 2 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago. Even if the check arrives I am out the delivery fee and I am left with a leaky washer dryer that I will have to pay to dispose.

I love this little machine Why bother with washing machines the size of a phone booth? I love its small size but very decent capacity. I love not having to move wet clothes from the washer and the dryer. I love that it is ventless. Does a great job washing and drying and steam refreshing The clothes only seem damp when they come out -- when folded they are absolutely dry and wrinkle-free. The only thing that is hard is there is not a matching pedestal so finding a stand for the little machine has been a real drag. Still looking for something.

The long dry cycle does not completely dry the load. When the cycle ends and you open the unit a big cloud of steam is emitted. I end up putting the laundry out side on my drying line.

i absolutely love my machine. I rent an apartment and it came with this 2 in 1 washer dryer combo i dont understand where the negative reviews are coming from. It is a smaller load capacity drum good for one or two people in a home/apartment. It has a sticker when you open up the lid that shows you what the max load height is for drying. Clothes always come out dry sometimes you need to give the clothes a wave in the air as they are steamed and feel damp but are not. It does not take 5 hours to do one load more like 2/3 including drying and considering how big or small the load is.

It was a challenge having this item delivered. The delivery team was very difficult however Costco customer service rectified the situation. Additionally there was a problem with the drying feature right out of the box. It took a couple of weeks to have that fixed and now all appears to be well. Keeping my fingers crossed that I do not have any additional issues with this machine.

We have a dog so this combo washer/dryer was a terrible choice. It clogs all the time and the only way to drain it and clear the clog is a little tube near the ground so I have to fill little water bottles for an hour and pour them in a big bucket. It leaves clothes wrinkled and covered in dog hair every single time. You can only use the drying option with certain cycles so half the dial is useless without a separate dryer. I have had the unit for one just over a year. Of course it broke right after the warranty expires. Basically a complete waste of almost $2k. I am debating buying another product from LG in the future after this awful experience.

Reasonable space-saving with flaws

No pedestal available from LG had to have one built for an added expense as machine is too low to see controls and use without considerable bending bad for the back. Very small capacity not for washing sheets towels larger items. No lint catching screen is also inconvenient must wipe lint from door rim. Aside from these and a few other design issues the combination design is a reasonable solution for limited space.

Bought this a Oct 2022 as a temp unit while we redo our laundry room. The smell is horrible. Clothes come out like burnt rubber. Call LG and they said that it is normal and will go away after a few washes. Well it doesnt. After a dozen washes the rubber gasket for the door ripped. LG Rep said that the part was on back order. Thank god this was only a temp unit for us but would be nice that it would work as a unit for sport activity clothes.

If I could give zero stars I would. It stopped working less than 9 months after I bought it. Getting someone to come fix it is a whole other issue that shouldnt be as bad as it is. When it did work it worked pretty good. The dryer is a bit picky about the load thats just a learning curve. A wash and dry cycle is almost 4 hours plus cool down time. Its not a bad thing but its good to know what to expect.

This unit is wonderful for the being so compact. We were able to get half of my laundry closet available for storage. The washing part of the unit is great. The drying part leave something to be desired. We are constantly using the 2 hr setting for drying and most times have to use it twice. Wish we could download a setting for 3 or 4 hr drying cycle.

All in one combo

I had the machine for 9 months now. I have the all in one combo. I like the machine. It does what I bought it for. The only down side to this machine is the time it takes to wash and dry. With a full load. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to finish completely. Other than the length of time it takes for a load. It is a awesome machine.

The all-in-one unit was the perfect unit to install in my travel trailers outdoor kitchen cubby. Though the vibration sensor went out a few weeks into using it but it got replaced under warranty. My only true gripe is that the remote start is kind of inconvenient because you still have to hold down a button to activate it every time and it doesnt give you the same flexibility with the wash/dry options that you can utilize when controlling it at the unit.

Great for the elderly

This has helped my 81 year old mother who is currently living with me to be more independant. She didnt like anyone washing her clothes except her. Before she had to go down our basement stairs to our laundry room. There is hand rails on the stairs but it is hard to carry a laundry basket and hold the rail. Much safer for her to have first floor laundry. The compact design allowed me to shoe horn it into a small bathroom. Now i am not worrying about her and the basement stairs. Best buy Ive made in a long time.

I had the older version model of this machine before and this new one makes more noise and shakes my house much more. I had to get issued a replacement machine since the first one they sent was defective. I did not too much choice in which machine I could get since this is the only model that would fit under my cabinet.

I have had this unit for over a year. I like this unit and am planning to buy another for a master bath remodel. This unit has been great my wife and I. For a larger family you need to know it takes longer since it is doing the washing and drying. The drying is different and you need to get use to in. I tend to take most of my non cotton items out after washing and hang them to dry then only dry the cotton. This unit is efficient compared to most dryers in two ways. One it does not use a vent so its not pulling your conditioned air out of your house. That is a big deal. The other is it uses mush less power. It only needs 110V. I would recommend this for a small household and some one that is willing to get use to something different. As far as cleaning it does a great job

I bought this in January and its really nice to have an in unit washer/dryer. It takes over 5 hours to get one load of laundry done which is a little aggressive but the clothes always smell clean. Also if you dont take the clothes out of the dryer right ways they will be super wrinkly.

Loud Machine While Operating Vibrates a Lot

I recently purchased the washer dryer combo from Costco and unfortunately I cannot recommend this product to anyone. From the moment I started using it I encountered significant issues that have made laundry a frustrating and unpleasant experience. First and foremost the vibration problem is utterly unbearable. Despite taking all necessary precautions such as ensuring the washer is properly leveled and removing any shipping bolts the washer-dryer combo still vibrates excessively especially under the high spin setting. The vibration is so severe that it causes the machine to move creating an annoying noise throughout the laundry area. Speaking of noise this appliance generates loud and intrusive sounds during the wash cycle. It seems as if the drum is continuously hitting the internal walls of the washer adding to the cacophony. As you can imagine this only adds to the inconvenience and discomfort of using the machine especially when trying to maintain a peaceful home environment. Moreover the overall build quality of this washer dryer combo seems subpar. The materials used feel flimsy and cheap making me question the durability and longevity of the appliance. With such a significant investment I expected a more robust and reliable product. Regrettably customer support hasnt been very helpful in addressing these issues. Despite reaching out to the manufacturers support team the solutions provided were insufficient and they seemed uninterested in resolving the problems I faced. In conclusion I strongly advise against purchasing this particular washer dryer combo. The excessive vibration loud noise and possible internal damage to the drum make it a highly disappointing and inconvenient appliance to have in your home. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reputable and reliable option that can handle your laundry needs without causing frustration and annoyance.

This vibrates so much even during the non spin part of the cycle that my Neihbors complain and things not the counters shake off. The clothes smell like burning. It makes a high pitched loud noise during the entire dry cycle in addition to the vibration noise. It doesnt clean well. LG customer service is obstructive . Check our their twitter and FB for 100s off users. My AC is also awful.
