Bought this bracket from Amazon and included the professional installation. Im sooooo glad I had the professional installation for theres no way you can install this mount with the TV by yourself It was a tough job for the two professional installers.
But the installers did a great job and everything in the kit matched up correctly to the TV. The two most difficult steps were converting the OLED77 from a stand configuration to a wall configuration and then lifting and fitting the mounts on the TV to the bracket.
The first step of converting the mounting bracket on the TV to the wall mount position is a nail bitting event....for the TV is so thin and you need to rotate the base bracket so its behind the TV. When you remove the screws to allow it to rotate it does not rotate freely. If your not an LG tech you arent certain what is too much force and not enough. You have to give it that extra push but in doing so everyone was worried about cracking the glass
The second step takes a minimum of two people to mount the TV to the bracket. The TV is not only large but heavy too. It ways 120 lbs so its pretty awkward to line the mounting posts on the TV through the mounting holes on the bracket. While the installers did all the work I was able to assist by shining a flashlight so they could see the mounting holes when they were mounting the TV.
But once done it was like wow It looks so beautiful on the wall And its a strongly secured. Although if installing the TV on an existing wall I recommend installing all the bolts to the studs. The directions stated to mount only 4 with the other screws offset from the stud and into the sheetrock. Trust me the sheetrock does no good
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of awkwardness to rotate the TV on the mount. It moves super easy left to right and vice versa. And it tilts down easy too. But if you want to till it up so its completely vertical thats a pain with this TV. For you dont want to put force on the front glass to till it back in fear of breaking the TV. So you only have the lower part of the TV on the stand portion to try to tilt this huge TV backwards.
But in my case a slight downward angle was the perfect angle for my setup. I originally had the TV mounted on an entertainment center but this is sooooo much better
Yes, I recommend this product
