And bought this stove this year. Within weeks I noticed that the two front burners were over heating. Pans were registering 400+ on a setting of 3 or 4. Intensity. Then one of the burners stopped working entirely. I contacted LG. They could not find a technician in my area. They sent me the parts weeks ago. I have reached out to them to schedule a call to help me repair it myself. They cancelled the ticket. I am still waiting on them to contact me.

LED display issues

I have two stoves. Each has a display issue where one segment of the LED display does not work. Called customer service and they promised to escalate my issue but no call back was received. The replacement part is $129 for each. Steep considering they are bothless than 2 yrs old. Seems like a defect since one stove is in NY and one is in Florida.

Even on low setting the front burners will BURN food if left unattended. My past ranges didnt require me to babysit it while I left sauce to simmer on low. Even with eggs its like I have to hurry up and cook it before it gets burnt. Ive only had it for 5 months and its something I regret buying - not only inconvenient but to me its also a safety issue. What burner burns food when set on low ? Customer service isnt helpful either they act like nothings wrong. LEMON.

Enamel chipping of at point of racks.

The oven has worked pretty well. The easy clean is usless but the self clean works. The ultra heat setting is also usless it doesn not heat up high enough or consistently. My biggest complaint is that we purchased the air fryer rack wirh this over and the rack constantly gets stuck or falls between the rungs. Its more narrow than the other racks despite being made for the oven. We have had this over for two years now and the last straw was me cleaning it out yesterday to discover that the rack has started to chip off the enamel Its a bright blue so its pretty obviously chipping off. I am so disappointed as this was a really expensive purchase and its not like you can just switch the enamel. I am throwing away the stupid rack and now just hoping the enamel chipping doesnt get worse.

I am very disappointed in the oven. The burners heat very slow it takes over 20 minutes to boil water The oven also heats slow. The air fryer feature isnt great either. I still use my countertop air fryer its faster. The display went out a year after I bought it.

I ordered 5 pieces of kitchen appliance replacement. Delivery was timely but i immediately discovered rust yes rust on the brand new stove. The delivery guy told me to keep it but call lg for a replacement. He said he was also notifying lg. No problem I spoke to lg and they arranged to send a replacement stove. The replacement brand new stove arrived just to discover 1 of the burners was not working I got smart this time and asked the delivery driver to take that drive also that i wanted to refuse the delivery. The delivery guy said he couldnt because he had already closed the delivery. Separate issue here I melted down when the delivery guy said I needed to call lg to get it replaced By this time Ive already discovered issues with two of the other appliances I received. I spoke with approximately 20 different representatives at lg in that week prior to my replacement stove arriving. I can guarantee you that they speak English well but they DO NOT I repeat DO NOT understand/ comprehend. It was very difficult for the reps to comprehend that I was having problems with more than 1 of the products in my order. Id spend 25 minutes explaining what I was calling about. Id explain which product and issue i was calling about each individual appliance issue 1 at a time separate calls. Because I had quickly discovered they were cunfusing and mixing up my requests or problems. Then just when i thought i was making progress my call would get disconnected This happened at least 5 times. What a living nightmare having issues with 3 of 5 brand new appliances but to top it off spending 30 hours trying to get the problems resolved is unacceptable. This is the second home that Ive purchased new lg kitchen appliance sets for. I advise you to go to your local big box store I bought my 1st lg appliance set from lowes about 4 years ago for the first home without any problems. I thought it would be great to go through the manufacturer themselves but I was sadly mistaken. Needless to say we sadly decided to ignore the VERY BAD reviews about purchasing from lg.com. My husband and I agreed that no matter what company some people would never be happy with some services or products. I really wish we had listened to the reviews about the communication

Shortly after purchase oven began burning biscuits while leaving them uncooked on interior. Finally had factory rep. Come out he told us we needed to wait an extra 15 mins after beep for proper preheat since instruction on manual were wrong. Actually told my wife of 50 years that she did not understand how to use oven adding the color of pan can greatly influence the outcome. Told her she will have to monitor oven closer when baking.Not happy with product or service.

A range installer told me that the Self Clean can damage range components due to the heat. The ground strap that I was supposed to bend up to the neutral had been removed. LG requires you to have Home Depot install the range even if you are more capable to install it. Otherwise they want to get out of the warranty. HD does not tell you this. I do not like having to say yes in order to accept Terms and Conditions which I do not see.

I have been having temperature issues on both the stovetop and the oven. Things that have been safe at certain temperatures for years are not safe in this unit. A technician said there is nothing that can done as there are no problems with it. What is the problem is that I need to learn to adjust the temperature so the item cooks right. So after 30+ years of being comfortable on other ranges baking something at 350 degrees for 15 minutes may now have to adjusted to 325 or 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Medium on the stovetop for 15 minutes may now mean low for 10 minutes. There is nothing that can be done except to learn how to use an electric range again after 30+ years of cooking? The flame point on olive oil is high. I got it to the temperature that the recipe called for. It increased within seconds to the flame point.

Numbers and letters wore off after 2 years with very little cleaning tried using warranty and was told its not covered because they said it didnt affect the function of the oven. How can I use my stove if I cant see where the settings are? I have ALL LG appliances and have never had a problem and would recommend but now Im very disappointed Im hoping the person I spoke to was wrong about this not being covered by my warranty as their explanation made NO SENSE

I have an LG range paid $770. for on March 24 2021. I also paid extra to Lowes for a 3 year extended warranty. I was told by the salesperson at Lowes that the warranty was for 3 years after the LG warranty expired That meant that the 2 warranties would cover the range until March 2025. Now not so Lowes says that their 1st year overlaps LG first year. The oven does not heat properly so no baking for me. While I understand that it is now no longer under their warranty guidelines I expected the oven to last longer than 3 years and 4 month Most write-ups state that the average age of a range is 15 years. I had an estimate prepared by an appliance repairman and they have quoted me a price of $667. Of course I am more than exasperated Help me solve this problem big corporations taking advantage of consumers continues.

Was nice the first few months then the burners either dont work all the way or it stays on high no matter what settings I put them on. Oven only cooks the top of the food leaves the bottom raw. Led screen went out first few months after I purchased also. The pretty blue on the interior of the oven will definitely grab your attention.. feel it was a bad purchase..

Self Clean ruined my oven

Tried using the self clean and now my oven is completely fogged on the inside and the blue paint peeled off. We love this oven and havent even had it a year. Im so disappointed and dont know if they cover this under warranty or have new blue interior panel parts to fix it.

If 0 were an option to rate this stove. I had to beg Lowes to get this atomic bomb out of my home. The 1st time using the oven was frightening. There was a very loud bang that sounded like a bomb when the oven got hot. I was afraid to approach the oven. I called LG and they had me on hold for a very long time and refused to assist in removing the stove from my home which was purchased 48 hours prior to me calling. When I called back the very next day the LG rep said they didnt have any service techs in my area and to wait for a phone call from a tech company to schedule an appointment meanwhile I couldnt use my stove. This caused me to have to spend money and eat out. The tech called the next day and didnt have an appointment available until 2 weeks.
