This was a horrible add on. It came on a separate day from fridge and had zero instructions. LG support was useless. Literally useless. They just said youll have to install it myself. All I had to go by was some videos. They would not even provide a technician b/c I bought it online at LGs website. I will never buy an LG fridge again. LG TV and washer dryer great . Fridge is HORRIBLE design and service

Shipping took a little bit. The manual was not really clear as my Fridge already had the water installed. so I dont need the pump. could be cheaper without pump.

I bought a new LG Model LRTLS2403 refridgerator from Lowes in December of 2023. I selected this model because it had an optional in freezer icemaker. I tried to buy that icemaker model LK75C from Lowes but they could not sell me one so I ordered one from LG online 12-27-23. It came after a very long delay on 4-12-24. When I inventoried the parts the Owners Manual says are included in the Icemaker Kit I was missing all of the mounting hardware items 2457and 9 listed on page 7 under Contents of Kit. On page 8 Icemaker Installation step 2 it says to mount the icemaker insert the two icemaker screws 4 provided through the holes into the located in the freezer left wall. Today I spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with LG Customer Support and the Service and Warranty department and the Parts Department and finally I escalated to a Customer Service supervisor who told me her name was RR. RR told me the mounting hardware does not come with the Icemaker kit # LK75C and that I cant install this icemaker myself I must use a professional technician. I Googled LK65C tonight and got a hit from LG saying this kit has everything you need to install your icemaker. My fridge uses model LK75C icemaker because it has cold water already. The installers could not make a model LK65C work so it was returned to Lowes.

This ice maker is great. It was easy to install had no issues. Had it for a couple of months and let me tell you it works great. Always has plenty of ice in the freezer and never runs out. We are a family of five and we use a lot of ice.

It came when expected but when the refrigerator finally got delivered I opened the box to discover no hardware or water parts to install the ice maker now I will have to go through who knows what to get what I need to install it

Although I followed the prompts and provided the correct information the incorrect part was sent. Then it took over an hour and five calls to reach the correct team to process the return. I was informed that I will have to pay for the return shipping. Not a happier camper.

It arrived on time. But when I open the package a plastic piece was broken off. The broken plastic piece is the one that the water flow to the ice maker. I want to know where i can buy the piece.

I ordered this icemaker in December 2023. I did not receive the icemaker until the middle of February 2024 even though it was marked as being in stock on the LG website. I received a huge runaround from LG and will never buy directly from them again. Icemaker works fine though.

When I purchased the refrigerator it did not have an ice maker available. I forgot how nice it is to have a working ice maker. No more ice trays. Makes ice quickly Instructions were simple along with a YouTube video. The quality of the ice maker is awesome

I bought this ice maker to go with a new refrigerator I had just purchased. It was very simple and easy to install with the step by step instructions in the LG video. Ice maker was making ice within four hours. I have had this running for a few months now and have not had any issues.

Very easy to install I didnt need the valve because of my model but that also looked very easy to install. Only comment would be that installation of the chute that runs from the water line into the ice maker wasnt specified on the directions and I had a tough time putting it in later without removing most of what was already installed.

THE WORLDS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARTS. I WOULD NOT EVEN WANT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM LG BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WANTED TO RETURN THIS ICE MAKER BECAUSE I RETURNED THE LG REFRIGERATOR I BOUGHT - DID NOT HAVE THE FEATURES THAT OTHER REFRIGERATORS HAVE - SO I DONT NEED THE ICE MAKER. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. Icemaker installation instructions in product manual are adequate but watching the LG video available on YouTube is much more useful. If your home is not already setup to supply water to refrigerator you may need a plumber or an extended discussion with a knowledgeable salesman where you buy the parts needed to provide a water supply.

This will be my 3rd replacement icemaker for the top mount 23 cubic foot - only issue I have is the longevity of each icemaker. The previous two had exact same issue black specks from tray. I regularly change water filter inline so it is they tray. In comparison other manufacturers icemaker last substantially longer 8 years on other. Other than that very pleased with bigger cubes.

The item was exactly as described im a woman an I installed it within 10 minutes. You want to bleed it really good. And throw away the first 2 containers of ice to make sure theyre well filtered. It works amazing and is very quiet. Well worth the money and very sturdy. Great product.
