The worst customer service experience ever

See my review for the corresponding washer. In summary dont buy from LG. 4 delivery attempts 2 months...items lost dented installed poorly and LG reneged on credit back to us for the bogus excuse that we denied delivery of a dented washer they sent to us the credit was for a different LG mistake...we happened to call them before our delivery to confirm if the mounting kit was in the order. they told us it wasnt and to get it ourselves. Think about this: if we didnt call wed have a washer/dryer that couldnt be connected because LG isnt on top of anything. See my review on the washer for the complete story. In summary: Do NOT buy from LG I doubt they are able to handle issues/warranties as our 2 month ordeal can attest to incompetence galore. If you do want an LG go to your local appliance store and avoid any contact directly with LG or RXO deliveries.

I bought the gas dryer washer. I am very happy with them. I especially like that I can control them from the app on my phone. They run nice quiet and chime when the load is completed and send you text message. I also like the sanitizing feature.

I am impressed with my new LG washer. It operates quietly which is a significant plus especially in an open-plan living space. The performance is excellent. It consistently washes clothes thoroughly and removes stains much better than the temporary upright model we were using. One of the standout features for us is the accompanying app which offers a range of functionalities. The alert feature is particularly useful notifying us when a cycle is complete. Additionally the customizable wash settings are fantastic allowing us to tailor each wash to the specific needs of the load. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new washer.

I cannot review the function of the dryer because I ordered it with free installation and haul away of the old dryer and that has not happened. I ordered for delivery on July 22. Less than an hour before delivery the subcontractor RXO sent me a text cancelling the delivery and telling me to schedule a new day. I scheduled the first available day July 24. On that day it was delivered but the delivery people said they could not install a gas dryer. I called LG. I was connected to a call center. The person said she would email RXO to schedule installation within 48-72 hours. Five days went by and I heard nothing. I called RXO. I was connected to a call center. The person there said she saw an email from LG but that nothing had been scheduled. She said she would send an email with high priority to RXO to schedule installation. Two more days have passed with nothing. I am on hold to talk to LG again and this entire process is incredibly frustrating. We are going to laundromats because we cannot dry our clothes for the last ten days since the dryer was originally supposed to be installed. I have no idea how well this dryer functions because LG sold it to me with installation but will not actually get it installed.

Ihave had this dryer since January and already two service calls. They dryers still does not dry which I am told is an energy savings design It does not save energy if you have to runt it through 2 or 3 cycles to dry your clothes. I cant deal with it anymore so I am buying a new not LG dryer. To pay for it I am taking this I one down to the Lowes parking ot and sell sledge hammer hits for $25. I cant deal with this junk any longer.

My old washer was making holes in my clothes. Yes the buttons were buttoned and zippers zipped. Two friends with same make different models were having same issue. Hated seen $40 shorts ruined and 20 to 30 dollar shirts the same way. No more holes and love both LGs. Should have bought them sooner.

Purchased the washer/dryer pair to replace a 12 year old set. Installation was complicated since I need side venting and there are no drawings of dryer vent placement. My wife is visually impaired and appreciates the ease os selecting a cycle. Since the machines are at the opposite end of the house from where we usually hang out the Internet connection telling me when cycles are complete is very helpful. Only installed for a few weeks but like the end results clothing comes out clean much quicker than our previous machines.

NIce roomy dryer with many cycle options. However the Dry Level setting doesnt work well. Even if I choose Very Dry my clothes are damp when the cycle ends. Im careful not to mix items with short drying times with those with longer drying times. Clearly the sensor does not work correctly and its been this way since I bought it this past August. The Troubleshooting guide is no help so if anyone has suggestions please share.

Life was good until I bought an LG gas dryer. I purchased the dry from Lowes and had Lowes install the dryer. The problem is that the dryer is a misnomer because the dryer does not dry clothes in any setting. I called LG customer service and told the representative about the problem and he had me go to the dryer and run some diagnostic codes. The result was that the codes showed that the dryer had a faulty igniter. The representative said he would send me a new igniter and made an appointment for a service technician to install the part. The part arrived and the appointment was scheduled for a few days later. While waiting for the appointment I received several nasty text messages from an LG representative threatening to bill me for the service call if the problem with the dryer was my fault. How could the problem be my fault? I bought the dryer from an authorized dealer which the authorized dealer installed. All I wanted was a dryer that would dry my clothes. When the service technician arrived I told him that my brand-new dryer did not dry clothes and the LG representative had me perform some diagnostics which showed that the igniter was not working. The service technician performed several tests and found sufficient gas pressure the vent was working as required and the igniter was working. He went on to tell me that the dryer was functioning as designed. When I asked why all the clothes were damp and not dry he told me that new federal regulations prohibit manufacturers from building dryers that fully dry clothes to save energy. Yes you read that right he claims that governmental regulations prohibit LG from manufacturing dryers that dry clothes. The bottom line is that I purchased an LG dryer to dry my clothes which the machine is not designed to do. I have a useless piece of junk in my laundry room that takes up space and I have to take my clothes to the laundromat to dry. To say that I am disappointed in my purchase which included an LG washer and LG refrigerator would be an understatement

We purchased washer dryer set two weeks ago and the washer is fine but the dryer door has a lot of play when it is closed.Had Best Buy deliver another one for exchange and it was worse so we kept the the first one.Talked to LG tec support and they said that this is the way it supposed to be but the ones on display are tight compared to ours.We have 60 days to make up our mind we have been big LG buyers not so sure what we will do.

We just purchased our Dryer and so far so good. It is so quiet that we often forget it is running we love that What I would change is the lighting in the display because it is very difficult to read the print the lighting appears next to your selection but if you cant see what youre selecting it actually defeats the purpose of any lighting.

Weve had this dryer for about a month. It does a pretty good job but based on how new the dryer is wed expect the sensor function to work a little better. Ill start out by writing that most of the fancy functions on this machine are sensor functions i.e. they sense the dryness of the clothing. We have not done anything sophisticated but have noticed that for every load done on the dryer setting there are three or four pieces of clothing that come out damp. Weve resorted to just using the time dry feature adjusting the temp based on the materials with great success. Additionally the Wifi will not connect to my LG app at all. We purchased new washing machine WM4000HWA at the same time which we love and does all functions wonderfully.
