I am very satisfied with my new appliance, works great, cools down my rooms well and I like how I can set it and forget it type feature where I can set the air conditioner on auto and it comes on and goes off according to my temperature settings.

When our Hisense Window Unit stopped working after we purchased it new only 10 months prior, we were unable to get a replacement because the unit had been discontinued. We were refunded our complete purchase price so went shopping for another brand. We found one through Walmart and purchased it and had it delivered to our home. When it got to her home, and my husband started installing it, it was severely damaged, so we had to return it. Then there was all kinds of issues with the return process and getting our money refunded. So we went back to looking for another unit, and my husband found the Frigidaire 28,000 btu window unit online at a company called ABT Electronics in Illinois. And it was at a cheaper price than what we had paid for either of the other two units. We talked to a representative at ABT who highly recommended the Frigidaire 28,000 btu unit, and assured us that it would be delivered by a private carrier in perfect shape. We received the Frigidaire window unit, my husband uncrated it and installed it, and it has been a God send! We live in Houston, Texas and have been having 100° + temps both last year and again this year. This unit is working like a champ! It's quiet, efficient, and we are so happy that we have purchased it. Thank you to ABT Electronics, and thank you Frigidaire for making a great window unit. We will be Frigidaire products users from now on.

Unit was purchased to replace another model with lessor BTU's. Unit is set to a temp a little less than required as it is being used to cool two levels of a split level house, roughly 1200 square feet. It is doing a very good job keeping the average temp at around 72 degrees. Very good AC

the cabinet was smashed but was able to be straightened with a 2 x 4 and a rubber mallet, the innards where not damaged, seems to work great, cools well, love the follow me remote, just wish the remote would work without being line of sight.

Will not cool a 30X50 insulated shop. That's 1500 sq. feet. This unit is rated for 1900 sq. feet.

This beast will put a chill on you! My 28,000 btu unit, is my new best friend. If you want to chill come on out to the woods with me. 62 degrees Fahrenheit is where it™™s set. I™™m part polar bear, so l have been told. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine ??

This a/c unit is petty powerful. Puts out a lot of cold air. Controls are easy to use with useful functions. The vent is one piece for vertical adjustment but 2 separate horizontal adjustments. Would be better if vertical could be split into 2 separate panels. This unit is very loud. Was installed as per tje instructions and double checked. Its just loud. Much louder than the larger unit that was being replaced.

looks like it was dropped from 6 foot in the back.! compressor was at a 45 angle--It still worked good for 10 days--Then it lost all the freon --got a free replacement from amazon 3 weeks later--(sweat it out)--New one was on a wood pallet -not a SCRATCH --thats how all should come! !My contractor bill $200-old to new-Someone elses should pay HIM ! ! !

I replaced an 18,000 BTU window unit with this 28,000 BTU unit. I'm very satisfied so far, but its only been 3 days. The outside temperatures have been 98-102 degrees for the last week and this unit does put out a lot of cold air.

Love the coolness the air conditioner puts out. The problem is for us is we have to keep it on 70 and continuous cool. Any other setting the temperature in my house rises to 78 degrees. Would love it to be a tomato™™s and be able to rest in between cycles.

Great value unit. I replaced a older discontinued Freidrich unit with this one. The only complaint I have is the manufacture installed a 30 amp plug on the new A/C . The manufacture specs say 230 volt / 13 amp. I did not want to cut the plug off so I had to hire a electrician to change my recepticle plug in wall.

I have always loved Frigidaire products until I bought this AC. It is incredibly loud when the compressor kicks on and I mean obnoxiously loud. Tons of vibration and a high pitched pinging.

I've only had it for a short time. This is my 4th over the past 25 years. It cools my whole house. The last one was great for 5 years but this years extreme heat and drought took a toll on it. In my area of Texas we had extreme Sahara dust as well as our own dust. I thoroughly cleaned it but it would not cool anymore. Decided to get a new one with extended warranty. Only issue was a design change in the widow surround. It was expanded by half an inch and would not fit my window. Luckily my old one fit perfectly in my window. But beware its bigger and may not fit where the previous one did. Hoping it lasts for many years.

The AC unit arrived on time. It was easy to install. It is heavy and a large unit. It is not as quiet as anticipated. It is loud. It cools very well. I set it at 72 degrees and it stays there. It cools 3- 4 rooms easily. Overall happy with this purchase and would recommend to friends and family.
